The 10th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum has commenced in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation between May 14-18, 2024 facilitated by the Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC), the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the “Selet” Youth Foundation of Tatarstan, and the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, in collaboration with Sabah.Hub, Kazan IT Park.
At the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Rinat Sadykov, the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Taha Ayhan, the President of the ICYF, Mr. Elchin Asgarov, the Chair of the Board of the ICYF-ERC, and Mr. Timur Suleymanov, the assistant to the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, along with representatives of various international organizations and government officials, delivered congratulatory speeches. They wished success to the participants and highlighted the increasingly significant outcomes of such events.
For the 10th year in a row, the main aim of the Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum is to support new startup ventures within the OIC region and inspire the efforts of young entrepreneurs.
It should be noted that within the Forum, 150 startup projects from 45 OIC countries were presented to a commission formed by an expert panel. 30 startups, distinguished by their creativity, innovation, and potential impact, were selected. To ensure their sustainability, the selected startups will receive support in networking and mentorship.
We are excited to announce that IIC startups, DERIVATIVE and Biopols, were showcased at the Forum, providing an excellent platform for entrepreneurs to exhibit their innovations on an international stage. We are proud of our talented entrepreneurs for their remarkable presentations and contributions to the Forum.
